Dan Rogers word 2017

As I went to prayer at a pastors retreat in the Toledo region, the Lord took me up and set me into the parking lot of Cherry Street’s Life Revitalization Center, where I had just come from. To my back was the building and to my front was the Toledo skyline.
And the Lord said to me; do you want me to show you your enemy?  And I said; show me Lord.
So as we were going toward downtown the Lord said to me; I stand once again among My hosts and the Lord said; I’m the King of Hosts, I stand among my hosts.  I saw, actually more sensed, the armies of God.  The host of them was like a force that was with us.
And as we were going toward downtown, the Lord said to me; I’m sending you to commanders I have gathered to the east.  And as I walked into here today the Lord said; I have commanders in this room.  They are commanders of my host. 
And even now, tonight, there are commanders of the Lord’s host that are here tonight.  And there are those of you here tonight, that God has given you authority over your hosts.  God has given you authority over hosts because you know it when you pray.  You sense that you are a commander and that you have authority over a host.  There are captains of brigades here.  There are generals of battalion groups.  There are commanders of fleets and air wings.  You are in this room.
And so the Lord took me into downtown and we landed and the Lord said I will now show you your enemy.  And the Lord showed me the enemy.  The enemy is in a diagonal line that cuts through the heart of our city running from the river and into the old west end – in a diagonal line.
And the Lord showed me and we landed and walked along the trench line.  And He said; what do you see my son?  And I said; I see that the enemy is well.  The enemy is well entrenched and well positioned. The enemy is well equipped.  And so He and I, we began walking along the trench line and as we began walking along the trench line there were faint shrieks as we walked.  The Lord covered my ears and He said I do not want you to hear what you’re getting ready to hear.  But He opened my eyes and said; See what I am to show you.  And so I opened my eyes and I saw.  I saw the enemy well entrenched, well in place and well positioned in our city.
But I also saw that the enemy is fat.  It is unchecked, unedited.  There are soldiers in our enemies trench line that have never seen a battle come to their front line, to their door.  They have never seen the armies of God.  They have never seen the Lord of Hosts.  They are fat.  They get to rape and pillage at will.  In our city, they get to come out of the trench and they go to various parts of the city and they do as they will.
I speak to you tonight, not as men but as spiritual.  Those who have an ear, hear. Those who do not have an ear hum the love boat theme song and we’ll be done in a moment.  But if you have an ear – hear as spiritual men and women.
And so we walked, and everywhere we walked I heard shrieks of the enemy.  They were angry we were there.  We walked in the trench line and I saw skeletons; they were not skeletons of people, they were skeletons of things.  I saw two skeletons and they had names.  One was progress.  And He said; do you see where progress has been drug into the trench by the enemy?  I responded; I see.  We went further and I almost tripped over another skeleton and it was the skeleton of resources.  Emblazoned across the skull of that skeleton was the word resources and how the enemy had raped and pillaged resources and drug them into the pit.
Grant Perry the Lord said to me; tell Grant what you are about to see.  And so I walked further and I saw a skyline of our city that had never existed.  I saw a skyline that had never existed.  It was a beautiful skyline, it was a grand skyline. And the enemy had dragged our skyline into the trench and replaced it with the skyline that we have.
And the Lord said to me; do you see? And I said; I do see.  He said; do you want to see your enemy?  I said; I do.  So we went to the heavens and we looked back on the trench line.  And the Lord said; do you see?  And I said; I see.  Actually, the trench line is a fault line. 
And instantly we were back on the trench, and I no longer recognized it as the trench anymore, but I recognized it as a fault line.  And the Lord said; see, I have deceived the enemy.  I have let them believe they are in a trench.  That they are entrenched in my city.  But they are not.  They are in a fault line.  And as we stood there in the fault line. Lava began to bubble up.  And the Lord said; do you see my son?  And I said; I do see.  And He opened my eyes and I realized it wasn’t lava at all it was the blood of Jesus beginning to come up through the fault line.
So the Lord would say to you tonight;  “Listen to me my commanders of my armies.  Listen to me, the Lord once again stands as King of the Hosts.  Take the battle to your enemy.  They are well equipped, they are well positioned, they are 
well entrenched, but they do not know Me.  They do not know you.  They have not seen a fight in their lifetime.  Ease has been their name.  Easy has been their way.  And they have come in and out of the city and now I am amassing a massive army.  Overtake”.
And I saw the armies of the Lord, and you, like a flood and I mean like a flood, with wave after wave, after wave of the Lord’s hosts.  You and the Lord filling the trench.  Filling the city.  And the Lord says; that is how I heal the city.  I shake the fault line, I amass my armies, I consume my enemies and it is the glory of the Lord that fills the trench.  The glory of the Lord that makes all new. 
And I saw a new skyline.  A new skyline.  And once again, as I was leaving, I looked back as the Lord was taking me back to my parking lot.  And I saw hope live.  I saw progress fully embodied. I saw resources muscular and healthy and wonderful.
And so the Lord said; I am sending you.
 
The prayer:
I am Dan Rogers.  I am a commander.  I command an army.  I am in a room of like-minded men and women who are commanders.  You have gathered us in this place oh God to show us not just that the devil is defeated, because You realize it’s not enough that we acknowledge the devil is defeated but we must see him as defeatable.
Lord I would pray that in the midnight hours of tonight, if not now.  Lord you will awaken the warrior of your people oh God.  That You would rise up in this hour, Your army oh God.  That You would restore the warriors heart.  And the commanders of this room will not return to their churches. Not return to their parishes.  But they would return oh God to their armies.  To their brigades. To their fleets. To their air wings. And they will see anew that as they would assume.  But they are Yours.
You have given them assignments. We all wear the same color. We all were the same patch. We’re all a part of Your army.
Lord Jesus, we submit to You Lord as your commanders.  You are our commander–in-chief.
